Senior hire for HBD as it targets Yorkshire growth

HBD has made a senior appointment to its Leeds office, welcoming David Wells as Director as its Yorkshire and North East team continues to grow.

The property developer launched its Leeds office in 2020, making a series of new hires as its development pipeline has continued to expand.

David joins HBD from Capital & Centric and brings more than 30 years’ experience within the
industry following senior roles at Muse Developments and Scarborough Group.

David said: “HBD is well- established and respected within the industry, so it’s fantastic to be
joining the business. The Leeds office has continued to see strong growth since its launch in 2020 and I look forward to working with Tom and the team to both progress existing schemes and to continue building HBD’s development pipeline across Yorkshire and the North East.”

Vale industrial development in Derbyshire, the vast International Advanced Manufacturing Park
(IAMP) in Sunderland, and its award – winning Chocolate Works in York, where HBD is on site
with the city’s brand-new Acquired Brain Injury Hospital on behalf of The Disabilities Trust.

2022 Yorkshire Insider Property Awards.
