Pension scheme acquires 5,164sq ft unit at HBD’s Airport Business Park Southend

HBD, part of Henry Boot, has sold a 5,614sq ft unit at Airport Business Park Southend to The Trustees of Hammersley Pension Scheme in a £1.15million deal.

Unit 5 sits within The Quad, a 12-unit scheme within the 25-ha development and is currently occupied by The Event Co.

Airport Business Park Southend (ABPS) is a joint venture between HBD and Southend City Council. It has quickly become one of the city’s most successful business destinations, with occupiers including IPECO, which has a total of 257,000sq ft at ABPS, and CAMA AssetStore.

HBD has now completed a total of 355,550sq ft at Airport Business Park Southend. A further 290,000sq ft of space is to be brought forward, 77,108sq ft of which has planning consent. Unit 5 was the final remaining building within the Quad, with all units now sold.
