HBD has been selected as the preferred development partner for the £100m transformation of Manchester city centre’s Deansgate Station.
The redevelopment of Deansgate train station will see the existing Grade II listed building, built in 1849, retained, with works undertaken to enhance the entrance, refresh the layout of the station and improve accessibility. Details for the wider commercial scheme have not yet been revealed.

The developer has invested heavily in Manchester city centre in recent years, with several high-profile projects underway, including Kampus, a £250m mixed-use scheme, Silk Works, Equitable Building and Island; a transformative workspace project in partnership with Greater Manchester Pension Fund.
