HBD, part of Henry Boot, has completed Setl, its 12-storey apartment scheme in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter; the developer’s first residential development in the city.
Setl provides 102 one and two-bed luxury apartments alongside a range of high-end amenities including a wellness studio, co-working and relaxation lounge and a roof terrace with sweeping views across the city.
The project team comprised award-winning interior design studio YOUTH, Jewellery Quarter-based architecture practice BPN, and contractor GMI.
Simon Raiye, Director at HBD, said: “It’s fantastic to see Setl now complete – we sought to create something special and we have certainly done that. While it’s now commonplace to see a strong amenity offer within BTR schemes, it is still very unusual to see these types of spaces within a building where homes are owned. Setl’s amenities really set it apart in the market – there’s nothing else like it in the city.
“We have continued to see strong interest in Setl, with sales progressing well since the show apartments opened in spring, and we look forward to welcoming the first residents in the coming weeks.”
HBD, part of Henry Boot, is one of the UK’s most active property developers, with offices in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds and Glasgow and with a development pipeline of £1.26bn.
The developer is also bringing forward a second mixed-use scheme in the Jewellery Quarter, with 417 apartments. Alongside the residential element, Neighbourhood will create a new square, set to become home to the city’s most exciting independents, and plenty of green spaces including a winter garden.
Knight Frank is the agent for Setl.
