Eden Farm’s new 73,000 sq. ft. unit at Butterfield Business Park, Luton, is beginning to take shape, with the steel frames already completed.
Eden Farm is a national wholesaler and distributor specialising in frozen food, ice cream and chilled wholesale, with a distribution network of nine UK depots. It supplies a range of retailers, from small independents through to large wholesalers and buying groups, as well as several famous high street brands.
Butterfield Business Park is an expansive 83-acre scheme being brought forward by HBD. The developer recently completed an additional 10 units at Butterfield, known as The Quad. The units provided an additional 83,000 sq. ft. of light industrial space.
Along with excellent transport links, the scheme benefits from amenities including an Innovation Centre, Business Village and a 157-bedroom hotel all on site.
Luke Davenport, Senior Development Surveyor at HBD, said: “Work is progressing quickly on site, with the team working hard to keep the build schedule on track – this is one of the largest industrial units currently being developed in the area and will provide Eden Farm with the space and facilities to drive further growth.
“The HBD team is also continuing to progress the development of the wider scheme – we will be delivering an additional 610,000 sq. ft. of employment space on a design and build basis, including an additional phase of spec units, which we’ll be bringing forward early next year. “
HBD has offices in London, Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and Glasgow. Its diverse, UK-wide portfolio includes big-brand retail, office space and logistics, through to residential innovation and award-winning heritage projects.
