We’re looking for a Director – Industrial & Logistics (Birmingham)

We are currently seeking a Director to join our Birmingham office and lead on our Industrial & Logistics projects.

The Role

  • Responsible for finding, appraising, acquiring, and delivering new development opportunities, specifically in industrial & logistics.
  • You will lead project teams involving internal stakeholders and external consultants and be capable of delivering I&L projects from inception to completion.
  • Overall responsibility for managing development programmes and budgets
  • To ensure that all project Board Reports have considered project management issues robustly and are accurately.
  • To keep the Managing Director, other Strategic Board Directors and the Operations up to date with project events to assist the wider management of the Company.
  • To take a lead role in ensuring that operationally, the Health, Safety and Environmental Policy is adhered to across the Company.
  • To ensure that the regional team’s training and development are identified through the HBD processes and implemented as required.

About You

  • You should possess extensive direct experience of the whole development and construction process, preferably client side.
  • Your experience should ideally cover industrial and logistics and large-scale masterplan development.
  • Sound understanding of forms of standard development agreements and forms of contract.
  • Ability to represent the Company at the highest levels.
  • Demonstrable capability of effectively managing teams.
  • Capability for strategic decision-making.
  • Understanding of construction cash flow forecasts and the Company’s management accounts.
